Jackson EMC crews, along with 46 contractor crews and other crews assisting from other Georgia EMCs not affected by the storm, will be working throughout the day to clear outages as rapidly as the weather conditions and safety considerations allow. At this time, our goal is to restore most Jackson EMC customers’ power within 24 hours, conditions permitting. Customers with special medical needs should make provisions until we can restore their power.
We will continue to provide updates throughout the day until the last outages are cleared.
