Be Aware to Avoid Utility Scams
Scammers are known to threaten utility consumers with tactics like disconnecting power or legal action if you don't make an immediate payment. Don't fall victim to these types of scams.
Also, keep in mind:
- Our employees will never show up at your door to demand payment.
- Protect your personal information. Never provide or confimr personal information (Social Security number, date of birth) or financial information (bank account information, debit/credit card information) to an unknown caller or visitor. Our representatives have access to the information they need to service your account.
- Be suspicious of any requests for immediate payment by wire transfer, cryptocurrency, gift cards or cash reload cards.
- If you think you've been contacted by a scammer falsely representing Jackson EMC, please contact us.
