Cranberry N' Cheese Grill

Our fellow cooperative, Land-O-Lakes provided this tasty sandwich recipe.

  • 1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish
  • 8 slices sourdough bread
  • 8 (1-ounce) slices deli turkey breast
  • 8 (3/4-ounce) slices LAND O LAKES® Deli American Cheese
  • 1/3 cup LAND O LAKES® Butter, melted

Combine cranberry sauce and horseradish in small bowl. Spread one side of four (4) slices bread with 1/4 cup cranberry sauce mixture. To assemble each sandwich, layer one (1) slice of bread, cranberry-side up, with two (2) slices turkey, two (2) slices cheese and second bread slice. Brush top and bottom of each sandwich with butter. Heat 10-inch skillet or griddle on medium-high heat. Place two (2) sandwiches in skillet. Cook, turning once, until golden brown (6 to 8 minutes). Repeat with remaining sandwiches. Makes four (4) sandwiches.
