Gwinnett County</p></div><p> </p><p>One Georgia student-delegate attending the Washington Youth Tour (WYT) is chosen each year to join the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s (NRECA) Youth Leadership Council (YLC). While on the June 11-18, 2015, trip this year, Georgia’s 111 WYT delegates chose Dacula’s Chris Larkins, sponsored by Jackson EMC, as the 2015 state representative to the YLC.</p><p>Larkins will return to Washington, D.C. July 18-22, along with 43 other state representatives. During the week-long leadership training, they’ll gain a broader understanding of cooperatives, sharpen their speaking and presentation skills and enhance their leadership abilities.</p><p>The true magic of this trip was meeting my fellow delegates from across the great state of Georgia.
