EMC Security Rising Through The Ranks

EMC Security is now the nation’s 36thth largest security firm, and the 15th largest residential security company based on monthly revenues, according to rankings released by leading trade publication Security Distributing & Marketing. The company has risen steadily through the rankings in recent years, ranking 55th in 2007 and 41st last year.

“This is really a testament to the great leadership and hardworking staff at EMC Security,” said Roy Stowe, Vice President, Marketing/Member Relations for Jackson EMC and EMC Security Board Member.

After starting the security firm from scratch in 1998 in partnership with Walton EMC, the firm today is also jointly owned by Greystone Power, and serves members of Metro-Atlanta EMCs as well as non-members across the metro area.

While the largest security firms in the Security Distribution & Marketing ranking serve customers on a national scale, EMC Security has steadily grown in size, despite only serving customers in a regional footprint. “We’ve been able to grow our business right where we started, serving local EMC members and their neighbors across metro-Atlanta,” said Vince Raia, president of EMC Security. “We are so appreciative of all our customers – without them we wouldn’t be where we are today.”
