Hot Chicken Salad

recipe for hot chicken salad

Warm up a winter day with this delicious version of chicken salad.

  • 2 C cooked chicken breast, diced
  • 2 C celery, chopped
  • .5 to 1 C pecans, chopped
  • 1 C mayonnaise
  • .5 tsp. salt
  • .5 tsp. pepper
  • 3 Tbsp.onions, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 C grated cheddar
  • .5 cup plain potato chips, crushed
  • .5 cup barbecue potato chips, crushed


In a mixing bowl, combine chicken, celery, pecans, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, onion, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and cheese. Spoon into a lightly greased 2-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle potato chips over top. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350°.
