Jackson EMC Linemen Working to Restore Power After Storms

(JEFFERSON, GA. June 22, 2019) Thunderstorms swept across north Georgia early this morning, causing outages for some Jackson EMC members. Linemen have been working to restore power to members.

As of 9 a.m., 1,081 members remain without power in Banks (843), Madison (180), Jackson (39), Franklin (13), Gwinnett (1), Hall (2) and Barrow (3) counties.

Line crews have been dispatched, and they are working to restore these outages as quickly as conditions and safety allow.
