Jackson EMC Monitoring Spread of Coronavirus

The health and well-being of our members, employees and all who visit our offices is our highest priority. Jackson EMC is closely monitoring the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Georgia and is taking steps to mitigate exposure. We are prepared to restore power in the event of any possible disruptions.

We are actively monitoring the coronavirus updates from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and will continue to respond based on the best advice of governments, public health authorities and medical professionals.

Jackson EMC has a pandemic plan in place based on recommendations from WHO focused on awareness and response. We have taken multiple steps over the past several weeks to mitigate exposure between employees and any potentially infected members. At this time, travel for Jackson EMC employees has been limited and contact between employees has been minimized.

Rest assured, Jackson EMC employees are available to respond to any restoration needs, should they arise.
