Jennifer Fennell Chosen for Leadership Georgia

Jennifer Fennell, Senior Business Development Manager in Gwinnett, was recently selected as part of the 2022 Leadership Georgia class. Leadership Georgia is a statewide leadership development program that strives to identify, train, and inspire a network of emerging leaders who want to learn more about important issues that affect Georgia.

This year, 63 class members were selected for the program after careful consideration because of their proven and potential leadership skills, geographic location, and diversity in gender, culture, race and occupation.

Jennifer was amongst several hundred applicants and was selected due to her professional accomplishments and involvement in the Gwinnett area. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (1999) and Master of Business Administration (2020) from the University of Georgia. Jennifer was a part of the Leadership Gwinnett class of 2018 and has volunteered extensively with the program ever since.

Currently, she serves as the President-Elect for the Rotary Club of Sugarloaf and has been involved with the nonprofit since 2016. Jennifer also serves as Secretary for both the Gwinnett County Police Foundation and The Water Tower at Gwinnett (TWTG) boards, in addition to being the Goal One Chair for Partnership Gwinnett.

Affiliated with the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Georgia is one of the oldest and most successful leadership training programs for business, civic, and community leaders.

After completing the program in late 2022, Jennifer will join an elite group of Leadership Georgia alumni that includes leaders in business, not-for-profit organizations, and elected officials -- including U.S. senators, U.S. representatives, state legislators, and Georgia secretary of state. Congratulations Jennifer! We are proud to have you representing Jackson EMC and our community.
