MyJacksonEMC Mobile App Getting New Look
The MyJacksonEMC mobile app – which allows Jackson EMC members to manage their accounts – is getting a new look, effective in mid-October.
Members with a MyJacksonEMC account can pay their monthly bill, view their energy use, report an outage and submit service requests to Jackson EMC with the electric cooperative’s mobile app. MyJacksonEMC is available as a mobile app and website.
The MyJacksonEMC mobile app will soon have a new interface that provides members a dashboard view of their upcoming bill statement amount, recent energy use and a quick link to view current outages. Members will also be able to view more detailed information about their bills and payment history, along with their energy use by specific times, under new menu selections on the mobile app.
The new look for the MyJacksonEMC mobile app will be available for iOS and Android, which are free to download in the App Store and Google Play. The MyJacksonEMC website will also undergo an interface change in early 2020.
Members who have previously downloaded the MyJacksonEMC mobile app will not need to download it again, if their mobile devices are set to automatically update iOS apps. Bill payments made through the mobile app are not expected to be affected during the transition.
Jackson EMC launched MyJacksonEMC for members to manage their accounts via a mobile app or website (MyJacksonEMC.com) in March 2019. The mobile app has been downloaded more than 30,000 times.
