Pecan Pound Cake
This very simple and delicious recipe, submitted by member Dorothy Comer of Jefferson, combines the savory and the sweet.
- 1 box of butter pecan cake mix
- 1 can coconut pecan icing
- 3/4 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup water
Mix all ingredients with mixer. Grease tube pan and dust with 1/4 cup confectioner's sugar. Then pour batter into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool cake in pan for about 10 minutes. You can frost with cream cheese icing or additional can of coconut pecan icing when cake is cold.
