Senior Engineer, Corporate Office in Jefferson, GA

This position will direct the design and planning of the Cooperative distribution system and provide guidance and technical judgment in engineering the plans, programs, and procedures necessary for orderly expansion and improvement of the Cooperative distribution system; implement procedures and technologies associated with system design, protection, control, transfer schemes, and distribution automation; provide the supervision and guidance for the electrical system models, Construction Work Plans, Long Range System Studies, construction contracts, and work within the Cooperative to provide engineering support; and will work in a team-oriented environment, providing the leadership and vision consistent with the mission and values of the Cooperative.

Require a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Prefer a degree in Electrical Engineering and undergraduate curriculum including Engineering related to the field of electrical power distribution and transmission. Require five (5) years of responsible electrical distribution experience involved in Engineering design and layout for the expansion of the electric distribution system, power requirements, and related specifications and codes. Prefer experience in electric system planning and protection.
